Pulsar PSP-42B Ring Adapter — Turn Your Day Scope into a Thermal Powerhouse

The Pulsar PSP-42B Ring Adapter lets you mount compatible Pulsar thermal clip-on devices — like the Krypton 2 and Proton — directly in front of your existing daytime riflescope, transforming it into a thermal imaging system without replacing your optic.

Designed for scopes with 40–42mm objective lenses, the bayonet attachment system allows fast, tool-free installation and removal while a precise positioning mechanism ensures correct image alignment within the field of view. Multiple inserts are included to accommodate objective housing outer diameters from 46mm to 50.6mm.

Important: Low magnification daytime optics are recommended for best results — up to 4x magnification. Higher magnification scopes will reduce the effective thermal image quality.
